Symbolism: This design is named for the Greek goddess of the moon.

 The Selena Clip Earrings are ethereal and luminous, thanks to opalite. Opalite is a synthetic opalescent glass that shares many of the same qualities as naturally-occurring opal and moonstone. The color is generally a light blue or periwinkle, but glints of pink and yellow can momentarily flash with the movement of light. The earrings feature an oval cabochon of opalite, and small opalite beads adorn the matte silver-plated leaves and stems of the graceful drop.

 All of our clip earrings are made with comfort and style in mind. To minimize discomfort, our clip earrings are constructed with a large focal (usually a gemstone cabochon, intaglio, or cameo) at the front of a clip with a large round pad (at least 13mm in diameter). This construction allows for pressure to be distributed to a wider area of the earlobe, eliminating the “pressure point” discomfort that can often come with screwbacks and smaller clips.
