Symbolism: The griffin is a mythological creature with the head of a bird, usually an eagle, and the body of a lion. The griffin traditionally symbolizes courage, strength, and valor.
The Damask Pierced Earrings are post earrings. The posts themselves are titanium, with textured floral fronts in antique brass-plated pewter. Dangling from these posts are a facing pair of griffins in black brass. The griffins have shell backs (so they are one-sided); they are a matching pair, with one facing left, and the other facing right. Please note that although the material is described as “black brass,” the griffins are generally a variable dark brown color. These posts come with comfy clear silicone disc backs (please see photo). Only one pair available.
