Coordinates with the Artemis Clip Earrings and Pierced Earrings
The moment I saw these amazing cameos, I fell in love! The Artemis Necklace features a large oval cameo of the huntress goddess Artemis (a/k/a Diana) with her hound and bow in light salmon and creamy white. This light salmon cameo color is often described and "angelskin coral." This vintage cameo is from the 1980s and is made from acrylic. The details are beautiful. To complement this unusual color, I set the cameo in a rose gold-plated setting. Delicate, copper-plated copper chain drapes from the bottom of the cameo to the strand of small rose peach-colored crystal pearls. This is known as the festoon style of necklace, which became very popular during the Georgian period (1714-1830s). The necklace is finished with copper-plated findings.
Please note that the spacing of the draping chain will change slightly depending upon how short or long you wish to wear the necklace. Photos 1 and 4 show two different looks, based on where the clasp in attached to the adjustable chain at the back.
